Creating Luminosity Masks

This lesson shows you how I create luminosity masks. A luminosity mask is what is used to isolate a particular brightness range in an image. The true value of this lesson is in the actions and curves presets that are found in the downloadable files. It took me quite some time to create those actions and we will use them in future lessons.Note: the downloadable files for this lesson have been compressed into a .zip archive. You will need to double-click on the file after download to extract the contents before attempting to use the files in Photoshop.
