In this lesson, I tackle a challenge image that was submitted by a Masters Academy member who wanted to remove the background on a very complex object. Standard selection tools will fail you on an image like this one. I ended up using a combination of channels and a special filter that produced a grayscale saturation map.I mentioned the Understanding the HSB/HSL Filter lesson which details how the HSB/HSL filter works.
