Every time Adobe releases a new version of Photoshop, they make changes that often cause some initial discomfort. CS2 is no different, and in fact there were some whopping changes made to certain features. Many tools have been moved, renamed or no longer exist. The Layers palette had a dramatic makeover, while major features like the File Browser were completely replaced! The free Photoshop CS2: Where’s My Stuff document is designed to help you make the transition from CS to CS2 by indicating what’s happened to many of the features that were available in the previous version of Photoshop. It was adapted from my new Photoshop CS2: Up to Speed book, which covers every change made in Photoshop CS2 and nothing else. I hope this will ease your transition to Photoshop CS2.
