Just thought I'd share with you a few of the shots I took last night. I have one more day of this night shooting workshop before I have to drive to Palmdale, CA to teach a three-day corporate training event.
Great shot Ben! You have some wonderful techniques and every shot has its own little feel to it. I need to get a cable release so I can control some of my bulb shots. 30 seconds can be limiting and the remote timer I have releases the shutter but doesn’t hold on bulb mode.
Thanks for all the great tips, especially the HDR stuff.

Love the control of light in #3. The grill of #1 appears to have been given expression and life. Great work.

Ben, how are you lighting these shots? generator or hand held flashes with gels?
Great work – you’re invited to post some of these images to the Auto-Nocturne Flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/auto-nocturne – and we hope you will consider submitting to the “Auto-Nocturne” exhibit at http://www.thenocturnes.com – deadline is Sept. 21, 2010!
