I’m leaving the bus in Las Vegas and flying to Virgina Beach, VA to present my Photoshop for Photographers seminar and then I’ll be flying to Maui, Hawaii to teach for a week and then explore the island for a week (for info about the events, visit my corporate site at www.digitalmastery.com).
Since my last post, I’ve been exploring Utah. I spent just under a week at Canyonlands, camped at Dead House Point, camped at Goblin Valley, Capital Reef and Bryce. I then visited my dad in St. George, Utah before heading to Las Vegas.
I’ve noticed that I don’t usually have cell service or wireless internet access at any of the National Parks. So… when I get back from this trip, I’ll be adding a satellite dish to the
bus that should allow me to connect to the net from almost any
location.
Safe travels!
have a great time in maui! im sure you will have beautiful photos to show for it.
Enjoyed your seminar in va. beach today!
Have a great time in Hawaii!
Ben,
You’ll be really happy with satellite internet. After much research, we had a Motosat Datastorm dish installed on our coach last year, and it’s the greatest. Like you, having a large rig (ours is a 43′ 4-slide Newmar) doesn’t stop us from spending a lot of time in remote areas where cell phones just don’t cut it. If you haven’t yet settled on a system and an installer, we’d highly recommend Bill & Janet Adams of Internet Anywhere (www.internetanywhere.us). They are fantastic. We also have a website not unlike your own, following our travels across North America, where you can see our dish installation. We’re at http://www.ouirv.com. Happy Travels – Peter & John
Are you married Ben, or want to?
From Spain…
I am fascinated by your book, I´m early beginner, but the CD does not have one of the chapters you mention, and has one of them repeated, LINE ART.
Well, if you don´t answer me I´ll give the book back to the shop. In don´t want to.
