I made it back from Hawaii. I’m currently in Nashville, TN and will be driving to Townsend, TN tomorrow morning to get ready for an upcoming workshop that I’ll be doing with Charlie Borland and Marv Miller.
The photograph above was taken on the last day of my Hawaii trip. This is a tree in Hilo that cast some interesting shadows. It’s a triple processed three-shot HDR image that has the Soft Contrast action and multiple vignette actions applied along with some curves and hue/saturation adjustments applied. To find out more about the about what all this means, check out my on-line HDR class.
A simply gorgeous image which repays long observation; it makes me think of the metaphor ‘Tree of Life’. Thank you for the HDR processing information: please continue giving such details. 🙂
We’re just back from eastern Tenn, the fall colors should be about at their peak for you! Looking forward to seeing what you can do with that part of the country!
