I dropped a 6 gb Hitachi micro drive and it damaged some of my photos and now it is no longer formatted — and I cannot get the camera or the computer (IBM) to read it —- Is there something I can do to salvage my pixs or the micro-drive?
Thank.
You can try drivesavers.com, but I don’t know if they offer anything for such a tiny drive.
This is the exact reason that I stopped using microdrives the second solid state compact flash cards offered enough capacity. You can drom a solid state card as many times as you want and you won’t usually damage a thing.
